Ahhh, this was buried deep within the bowels of my e-mail account, and it looks like once again, Mike The Dog has come through with some beautiful images. This event happened on May 23rd, so I say better late than never. More Images after the jump!
Highlights include this 1987 Vanagon Syncro that's for sale!
This marvelous 412 Sedan
The "Maxi Taxi" Kit Car
There were a shit ton of vans, including a rare high-top beer vending van
The most interesting vehicle there (in Mike's opinion) was a 1966 Single-Cab Transporter with a custom drop-in camper that was installed for the original owner in ~1968 by Perris Valley Campers in Perris, CA.
Since you have already wasted your Sunday looking at the other posts, why not save these until Monday?
MtD strikes again! Was the location pre-deluge Riverside Park? I've never been a huge VW fan but I could do a pristine 411 or 412, penned by American industrial design genius Brooks Stevens.
Who the hell is this "Mike the Dog" guy sleeping with to get three posts in one day?!
Wink, wink…
Eeeeewwww!
Well, this olelongrooffan can tell you it's not me. But keep these cool offerings coming our Hooniverse way!

Yes. It was only mildly soggy that day, and not at all underwater. On a side note; Brooks Stevens designed the 412? I didn't know that.
Page after page of computer background images. Thank you.
Has Amber* seen this?
You mean Ambersand? She saw them first. I sent her a link to the set before I even submitted it here.
Yeah, Ambersand. Being a Contributor has its privileges eh? Thanks for posting!
That has got to be the coolest beer van ever. A low bar to clear by no means.

It’s hard to find sharp bloggers on this topic, but you sound like you know what you are talking about! Thanks.
