The 2026 Corvette ZR1 features a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that delivers a mind-warping 1,064 horsepower. There’s no electric assist on this one. Just rear-wheel-drive insanity… and I love it.
Maybe too much. I sort of lose my mind in this video, and it’s all the car’s fault.

Car seems utterly insane while having sanity as its underpinning. VERY cool! I wasn’t so sure about the mid-engined Corvette but they are really turning into something that’s its own thing (not just another mid-engined car) and a tribute to the Vette name.

This car is really cool! I love the color red combined with the design! 1,064 horsepower with no electric help is just wild. I get why the video went off the rails a bit. A 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 in a rear-wheel-drive car like that seems like it would be hard to keep calm about.
