Hooniverse Weekend Edition: 28th Annual Dana Point Concours d'Elegance

After flirting with a number of Orange County, California venues for much of the last quarter century, the 28th Annual Dana Point Concours d’Elegance now has a home on the fairways and greens of the St. Regis Resort and Golf Course. With almost 200 cars on display and judged, and almost as many in the non-judged categories, this year’s event was a feast for Southern California automotive enthusiasts.

This year’s featured marque was Alfa Romeo, celebrating its centennial with 14 cars judged. While it would be the judge’s chore to pick a winner among these outstanding entries, it didn’t come as any surprise that the 1952 Alfa Romeo 1900 Fangio Coupe owned by Skeets Dunn took home top honors. Read more about this show at Automotive Traveler.

There is a Photo Gallery of the event as well, where you can purchase prints of the show cars on display. Why not waste your 4th looking at these classics.
