I was doing my usual eBay searches for this weekend, when I came across this listing: [sc:ebay itemid=”171096063830″ linktext=”1986 Mitsubishi Pajero 2.3 Turbo Diesel” ]. I was going to do a post about that particular truck, but decided to highlight some of their California Inventory instead. So, if you ever wanted an actual JDM car or truck, this is your time…

There is a lot more inventory, but you have to click here.
Cosmo much?
Enter text right here! The Nissan Laurel is beautiful! The Debonair goes right into the "education box" – had never seen one before. Thanks for an interesting post!
The Debonair should be considered for the name alone, but the
CressidaMark II would be a better dog haulerVery interesting stuff. Spotted a line lock on the Skyline. I don't think those were 8K easy miles.
If you do a "inventory search" you have the option of choosing prices in US$, Yen, or Canadian (CA) $.
What you find iffin you play around can be distressing, to some…
You can see cars like this at the JCCS car show in Long Beach in September, just sayin…
I'm curious how they manage to get California titles and registrations on the 25+ year old vehicles. It's my understanding any gas car or light truck made after 1975 (and any diesel car or light truck made after 1997) has to pass CA smog before it can be registered here, even if it falls under the EPA/DOT 25-year exemption.
I think that the Japanese smog requirements are actually stricter. Passing local smog tests is easy if the vehicle is in tune.
We register for Title only. In California, They do smog..Follow the Rules, And you will be okay.
