Continuing on with our tips and suggestions weekend, we received this tip from Dan the Man (er, Thanks Man!) about this Datsun Truck, saying he thought it was up our alley. Well, what do you think?
According to the listing:
Rare 1970 Datsun pickup for sale. Needs restoration. Asking $2,500 OBO. Fire me an email and we can talk!
Short and to the point… Anyway, Dan stated in his email: “I like the green steelies and the stripes. It says it needs restoration but I would leave it with this 43 year old patina.” So the question of the weekend is this: What would you do with this rare Datsun currently living in Vancouver? And while you’re at it, is the seller asking too much?See the listing here.

l wouldn't turn down either, but I'd rather have the pickup.
I'd replace any cracked rubber. Other than that, I wouldn't touch it.
Wow, I can remember when they were new.
Was 1970 a big sales year for Datsun pickups? More body panels, glass, trim, lenses, etc.

Clean it up and use it, although my small yard might be more suited to the Subaru 360 kei truck I saw on the microcar club run Saturday .
