It’s finally here: The Audi RS6 Avant is coming to the US!
This is our first chance to get up close and smell the lovely longroof. Audi is ready to drop its mighty wagon on our shores, and it will arrive packing a 591-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. That’s backed by an eight-speed automatic gearbox, quattro all-wheel-drive, air suspension, and an available sport differential.
Here’s a kidney. Where do we sign… ?

I thought it was only BMW that accepted kidneys? Audi seem to accept your sense of decency given how most are driven though.
Driving video I’ve seen suggests it’s a beast, and it sounds sweet. I just wish the styling weren’t so extroverted.
If you don’t have an autobahn handy I think it is too big & heavy for it to be ‘fun’, and would go for the RS4 instead. There has been quite a bit of scope creep since the earlier M5’s and RS2 that started the modern German sports sedan/wagon.
