LA Auto Show: Audi RS6 Avant is longroof supremacy

By Jeff Glucker Nov 20, 2019

This is one I’m most excited to see in person. The Audi RS6 Avant is finally here, and it was worth the wait. Sure, a V10 prior generation car would’ve been appreciated stateside. But this twin-turbocharged V8 beast is quite welcome.0.

And the version on the auto show stand is a stunner. I thought it was black… but it’s actually a fascinating shade of dark blue. This one needs to be let out into the sun to see what the hue is really made of, but for now it looks glorious just sitting here in Audi’s booth.

    1. The last one was the same, the sleeper aspect has been abandoned.

Not sure if the figures are correct, but it might be 4740lb, up 340 on the last gen. That’s not light! Yes power, braking and grip mean it will still be bloody fast but at a cost.
