Do you have a favorite band? I have a bunch of ’em, but one that’s been near and dear to my musical heart since I was a snot-nosed kid is the L.A. punkabilly band, X.  If you never had the opportunity to see them live well, that’s a dang shame as they used to put on an awesome, blow you through the back of the bar show. 

This video for Johnny Hit and Run Pauline, off of the band’s debut album (Los Angeles) waaaaaaay back in 1980, is about sex and drugs. X of course provides the Rock and Roll. And that last part is why it’s here this fine Monday morning because this track rocks. Some songs were meant to be the soundtrack for fast diving and this is one of those.
