Ok, so here is a weird one for all of you Hoons who frequent this site. This is a 1980 Toyots Celica with a Sunchaser Convertible Conversion. Pretty rare and wonderful, right? You would think the dealer who took it in trade might want to sell it for top dollar by describing how rare and wonderful the car really is. The Dealer might want to describe how the condition of the car is, how many miles it has, and what are the other features of this very desirable Japanese Sport Coupe/Convertible might come with. They might also want to describe how many were made by the conversion company. Guess what… they do NONE of that. Want to read the listing they did manage to put together? Make the jump and read on… I’ll let the ad describe this desirable car, and make you want to forget ever seeing it…

See, absolutely nothing about the Celica, except for the price they want for the thing… $13,500. If they can’t spare the time to do a half assed write up of a potentially desirable car, I wonder how they do business normally… Oh Wait, I know… You step into the dealer, some 21 year old greets you right then and there, asks all sorts of questions, asks you to fill out a questionnaire (where they get your Social Security Number) and then he wisks you off to take a test drive in the car they want to sell you, while hiding the keys to your own vehicle. and that’s only the start, as you will be ground down to a pulp until you capitulate, and spot deliver whatever they are trying to get rid of… Am I getting warm East Coast Toyota? Never mind, as I know exactly what most volume dealers are like in and around the NYC Metro Area. If you still want to look at the pictures of this Celica, take a look at the Auto Trader Listing Here.
