  1. I noticed it's from a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep dealership. It's no wonder it's priced as such. A Sebring Convertible looks like a steal at 10% of the cost of a Ford Focus!

    1. Having just sat in and fiddled with the entire Ford and Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge lineup, I suspect it's more likely that they compared it to their own offerings and came to the conclusion that it was worth ten times the price.

  2. To me, what's honestly scary about this is it only has one extra zero. Why the hell would anyone spend this much for a Focus?! Doesn't anyone know how many ugly, awesome old French cars you could park (in some cases permenantly) in front of your house for ~22k?

  3. And here everyone's been telling me for years that a car is not an investment! I'm heading over to the Ford place after work to pick up a few of these bad boys, and they shall be on Auto Trader tonight. Any of my Hooniverse brethren that may be interested in one can contact me, and I'll sell you one for only 10% more than I pay. I mean, I want to make a little something for my effort here, but I want to give you guys (and gals) a good deal.

It seems they didn't quite learn the art of negotiating. Yes, you are supposed to start high. However, you're not supposed to start so high that people laugh at you.
