I have to resist growing them, as for me it's quite easy…and quick.
Doesn't it seem like every scene except the car chase is B-Roll with dialog added in post?
J.C. Agajanian shows up at 17:47 (he gets out of his white Rolls and shakes hands with a sprint car driver).
Terrible stilted dialogue? Horrible acting? That soundtrack? Focus on the ladies (well, cars with ladies names) and the action? Car porn, utter car porn.
The ending is good.

Every time I heard Halicki talk, I thought "I didn't know Chevy Chase was in this movie?!?!"
