It’s Monday, and we want to start the week off with a heartfelt ode that Automotive Mecca that has fallen on hard times- the Motor City itself, Detroit. In We Almost Lost Detroit that city’s native sons, Daniel Zott and Joshua Epstein – better known as Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. – give us a step van tour and show us some of the city’s proud inhabitants lip sync’ing the song. While a play on his own name it’s rumored that Dale Earnhardt Jr. is actually a fan of Jr.Jr., and you can become one too after the jump.

Confusing hipster band names.
I always confuse Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. with Dale Earnhardt Larry Mullen Jr., Dale Earnhardt Super Junior and Dale Earnhardt Dinosaur Jr.. All from Detroit, but probably only one of them has a step van.
