So, did all those April showers end up with May flowers, per that famous song that you only know that one lyric to? If not then let me brighten your day with a red car for this week’s Mystery Car challenge. Please let bloom with the make and model if you will.

    1. I know exactly the detail you’re thinking of, and I had the same thought at first as well. Only thing is, I’m not sure that it was ever offered in any colour other than black. Could be wrong, though.

    1. Nope.
Just quote made up model name and engine size and bluff it out like you really meant it.
My guess is the 1947 Altamobil KV7, with the 499cc glowplug two-stroke.

        1. Interesting – in some ways, it’s similar to the BX vans we had in Ireland.
The one shown below is on Isle of Man plates, which is interesting – as far as I was aware, the BX was never available as a van in any part of the UK.

    1. Speaking as someone who owned a Panda of that era, I have to say no – the scallops seen in the original photo weren’t on any Panda of the time that I’m aware of.
That said, it’s always good to see another one of these. Absolutely brilliant little cars.

      1. Earlier 90s Mitsubishi Expo (Mitsubishi chariot/ space wagon) (full size not lrv), rear driver side window trim. Helps that I owned two of these babies
