Let the March Madness begin! Of course I’m not talking about NCAA Basketball, but the madness that sets in knowing that it’s Friday and time for another Mystery Car contest. Based on the movement of the constellations it’s traditionally said that March roars in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb, and while we’ve got some time before mutton season, today is March 1st so you should be ready to roar.

What does that have with today’s Mystery Car? Well, I’m not saying it has anything at all. What does have impact are the rules, and just so that we’re all clear, those are: make, model, likely engine, and year range to win. You are now fully armed to tackle today’s contest. And while your at it, you might want to also contemplate what it is about this month that makes everyone so crazy – Mad as a March Hare, March Madness – and maybe you’ll want to ask, Yo March, why you so mad bro?

    1. That's where I was going. the line in proximity to the lamp just screamed it to me.

  1. Jaguar xkrs, 2009 – present model year for the xk. Super charged 5500cc engine I think in there.

  2. I have been here almost two years and literally never guessed the mystery car correctly. You guys are incredible.

    1. I'm right there with you. I have been here since inception and I have gotten it twice but only one counted as the first time I was about a minute too late. The knowledge here is impressive.

    2. Even if you know it, you've got to post before anyone else does.
I think I've only recognized two (A Spyker a few weeks back and a Momo Mirage some time ago), but I've never been the first to post.
This is probably because the ones I know are relatively easy.

    3. I've been here a while as well and only guessed one about a half hour after it was identified correctly. These guys are impressive.

    4. Best I've ever done is an assist. I figured out what part of a car was pictured (and even got the right make of V8, but wrong car and engine location). That allowed someone else to figure out what it really was.

  3. Right manufacturer, wrong concept.
I'm going with the Chrysler Firepower concept of 2006, with the 6.1 L Hemi V8.

      1. No! God damn it! You suck at everything!!
I just don't know what to believe in anymore…

    1. Badda bing, badda bang, you done solved it! A hearty virtual handshake on a job well done.

      1. Can we get the source photo? That picture must have been taken at a pretty intense angle. Kind of curious.

        1. That is the source. These pics aren't actually obscured in Photoshop. His camera is just THAT BAD.

      1. I don't have to post a pic of what I'm selling! I post what I want! I'm not a part of your system!!

    1. Wait, muthalovin posts a non-NSX non-answer on a Mystery Car post? What's this world coming to?
