There is an age-old question, one that for centuries confounded philosophers and poultry farmers both, and that is why did the chicken cross the road. Thanks to decades of scientific study we now know that the answer is to get to the other side, but that discovery still won’t end driver’s asking the question under their breath every time they see a chicken – or even a rooster – making the trek.
