You of course know that the Volkswagen Type 1 was the amalgamation of Adolph Hitler and Ferdinand Porsche’s designs, both of whom had been heavily influenced by Tatra. You probably also know that the Czech car maker would later sue Porsche for intellectual property theft. If only the Germans had followed through with this far more radical (and radial) approach to the People’s Car, everything would have been hunky dory.
