Chevy’s Mako Shark show car, which presaged many of the C3 Corvette’s styling tropes, is one of the marque’s most ostentatious show cars. As such you might think that it would still appear today as though recently pulled from a time capsule, but that’s in fact not the case. No, the Mako exhibits the wounds of time just like any car, with paint bubbling and chrome dulling. Despite all that, it’s still an astonishingly cool car in the living plastic.

Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.
