I met Luigi Colani a couple of years ago at the Art Center car show, and what struck me about the German designer was how normal he seems in person. I don’t know what I was expecting, but with concepts like the C 112 above,  it was perhaps a letdown not to be greeted with an under the leg handshake and introduction spoken in iambic pentameter.

The C 112 is as audacious as you would expect having sprung from the mind of Colani, and considering that here we are, heading off into the weekend, I felt its backside would make an appropriate talisman to the week just past. While we’re waiting to get this party started, can anyone identify the source of the C 112’s tail lights, or are they proprietary?
