When it comes to top-tier muscle cars, few are more coveted than a Hemi-powered B-Body–Automotive Traveler’s Rich Trusedell found one with just 28,000 miles on the clock!
This is a car of pure fantasy. A documented, low mileage, Hemi Mopar, and it’s about to go on sale. According to Rich:
Over the past several years, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Dave Lindsley, a muscle-car collector living in Southern California, quite well. I’ve even written magazine features on four of his cars–a 1966 Chevelle SS396, a 1969 Nova, a 1969 Camaro Z/28, and the vehicle you see here, a 1966 Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi that appeared on the cover of the September 2009 issue of Musclecar Enthusiast. Over breakfast this Saturday after the Cars and Coffee show in Irvine, California, Dave told me he’s putting the GTX up for sale. After asking him if he was crazy, I realized he’s probably got his eye on another car and simply needs some room to make ready for it.
Rich also stated that Mopar expert Galen Govier has fully documented and verified this car, which was built on 10 March 1967. Read more at Automotive Traveler.
