Hooniverse Asks- What's the Best Terrified Passenger Video on the Web?

You’d think that the wives of F1 drivers would be wired differently, considering the personalities of those to whom they are married. That obviously wasn’t the case when Riccardo Patrese took his better half along for a lap in a Honda Civic Type R – which isn’t even a car that’s likely to obtain truly frightening speeds outside of being dropped from the back of a C130.

That’s a great video of a truly unhappy passenger, and in this case, one who probably should have known better. I can remember another video of a wife or girlfriend being shown firsthand how fast an orange McLaren F1 will go on a closed runway, including a few donuts at the end in case she still had her appetite. She seemed equally as receptive as does Suzie Patrese

I can’t find that McLaren video anymore, but what I want you to find for me today are what you think are the best videos of a passenger – of any gender – either getting the crap scared out of them, or just generally having a bad time. The only condition that is mandatory is that they need to be funny and fun. Can you think of any videos that might fit the bill? What do you think is the best terrified passenger video on the Web?

    1. I still remember the first time I saw videos of Darius' 240Z – I wonder what happened to that car?

    1. I'm sorry, but that was really forced. He was trying waaay too hard and he's not that good an actor.

    1. I've never heard "maybe" used as a rally note description…
In-car videos like this blow my mind. His driving here is astounding, and I hope to someday possess 1/1000th of this ability.
I know, however, that I'll never possess 1/10000th of his ballsitude.

      1. As I understand it, the weather for this particular event was constantly changing. So Harryman used "maybe' to caution Vatanen regarding any spot on the stage where the rain may have altered road conditions. This, of course, begs the question, "If Vatanen was this agressive in uncertain conditions, what was Ari's driving like when he was certain about stage conditions?"

  1. There's a great one of a DTM driver and his wife (NINHO, YOU SAID YOU WOULDN"T GO FAST) on the 'Ring. I can't look for it cuz they cut off YouTube ("It eats up bandwidth!" " BUT WE DON"T HAVE ANY!")
