Hoonivercinema- Monday Music Video

MMV07-07 With last week’s tsunami of Americana still fresh in our minds, I thought that this week we should cleanse the palate with something a little Foreigner. That Was Yesterday is off of the band’s 1985 album, Agent Provocateur, and while it’s not their hardest rocker, it does offer up some of the most hard core tambourine slamming you’ll ever see, by front man, Lou Gramm. This video is also filmed as a live concert, and while Foreigner has never been known as a gear head band, their stage dressing at the timewas a pair of cool cars and a bike. Weird, I know. Still who doesn’t like seeing a pair of GM’s finest from ’69, a Camaro SS and Pontiac GTO. Sadly, it appears that those cars were sacrificed for the stage as each seems to have been cut open to provide room for, respectively, the drum and keyboard stands. Check ’em out, right after the jump.
