  1. Snap together? If you’re clever with your modeling and your 3D printer is accurate enough, you can print the whole thing from one file, moving parts and all. Fasteners are a problem, as are other interference fit features.

  2. Soooo are the stl files available on like grabcad or thingiverse? I don’t actually plan to make one, but I’d like to know that I could.

      1. Oh, wow, that is one amazing world to dive into. I struggle to keep up with just about anything I’d like to do already, but with more spare time on my hands, this would be a brilliant pastime.
