Buy one of these art helmets to help animals that need a home

Mazda Raceway and the Monterey County arm of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals are once again teaming up to raise some money and get animals into good homes. This is your chance to help out, and you can score a pretty awesome piece of art for your efforts.
This is a helmet auction. These aren’t your standard Sparco brain buckets though, as these four helmets have a bit more style applied to them. Sparco donated the four helmets so that four artists could lend their work to the curved surface of each item.
Chris Galligan (artist who works are …everywhere), Patrick McDonnell (from MUTTS), Bill Paterson (the resident artist for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca), and Truman Pollard (retired Mazda designer and current art teacher) have all lent there hands, skill, and brush work to this quartet of helmets.
Each has its own eBay bid, and 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each will go to the SPCA of Monterey.

Those are the links to the four auctions. They’re all currently sitting at low bids, but they’re sure to climb seeing as there are six days left to get your bid in place.
