It is a pleasant coincidence that the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance occurs each year at exactly the same time I spend a week in warm southern Florida with my family – it’s like they plan it around me, which they should.
The one day concours is relatively small in size but it features something for everyone and not just the rare and the overpriced/over-hyped. Like last year there were plenty of fast and funky Europeans, American muscle, British luxury, with some micro and one-offs thrown into the mix.
Over a hundred pics and results after the jump.
Pictures are in completely random order. I photographed what I found interesting. All show winners are listed below.
This Ferrari was my favorite. I like these better than the F40s.
Cadillac was the featured brand.
Small front-engined Fiat. I have never seen one of these before.
Interior of the above Fiat.
Yup, that’s a factory color.
It’s funny, because when you spec a brand no Porsche 911 without any options, the interior features are exactly the same.
There were also boats and motorcycles at the show, but I didn’t get any pictures of them.
This Bentley was really something, murdered out decades before murdering out was cool.
Did I mention that I loved this Ferrari 288 GTO?

Oh wow, I’d be all over that Jag XKSS… so did you like the 288GTO?
I little. It was ok.
hey, what’s this thing?

i like it but i can’t recognize it
ah, the aforementioned XKSS. okay
And just how many cars were at this? Scrolling through the awards list, feels like “everyone is a winner!” made it from Little League to the Boca Raton Concours.
I don’t know, but yea, I noticed the same thing.
I had the same thought as well. Did you notice Wayne Carini won in the preservation class?
I agree with you on the Ferarri GTO, my favorite as well.
I see a black ’57 Eldorado Seville behind that green late 40’s Caddy limo. Any shots of it?
Pretty sure there is no more horny looking car in existence.
The small front-engined FIAT is a 500 Topolino, the predecessor to the more familiar rear-engine 500.
Great show. Great photos.
