The concept made a callback to the original Stingray with its split-window back end. The best feature of the concept was its ability to transform into a 20-foot-tall robot. Okay, maybe that was standard on the car in Transformers 2.

A eBay seller in Utah is selling a home-built version of the Corvette Stingray concept. The homebuilt concept is based on a 2005 Corvette chassis. The body pieces are custom to the car. It comes with a LS2 motor, automatic transmission, and several Stingray badges, demoting its special status.
As of this writing, the bid stands at $12,522.00 with the reserve not met.
