V10-Swapped Continental Now Sounds Like Two Different (Awesome) Cars

By Jeff Glucker Jul 2, 2025

If you’re not following along with the current coolest build on YouTube (Outside of the Stanceworks Ferrari F40), you’re missing out. A pair of smart young dudes have taken a 6.8-liter V10, reworked it completely, and stuffed it into the nose of a previously crashed 2017 Lincoln Continental. The result so far has been pure magic. But now the pair have crafted a proper exhaust system for the car, and it’s downright shocking.

As the car approaches, it sounds like a muscular V10 engine. But when it passes by, the exhaust note out the back is pure Formula 1. It’s downright astounding. You can see the shock in the builder’s eyes as they hear and experience this dual-nature tone for the first time.

This already awesome build just keeps getting better and better. If you’re not already subscribed to their channel, I’d say you need to fix that.
