That Multistrada and the R Nine T GS both need skid plates or some sort of exhaust protection to be taken seriously for what looks like their intended roles, occasional rough road or off-road use.
At the moment they are tributes to style over function.
That MV Augusta Brutale is sensational.
BMW has not been shy about saying that the GS is a styling tribute, not a true dualsport bike.
That is to say that it’s an exercise in styling, not good design.
