The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast: Episode 101 – Forty-Three-Point-One Miles Per Hour W/ Andrew Comrie-Picard

C&T 101
Thanks to some contacts at BF Goodrich, we were given the great opportunity to talk to Andrew Comrie-Picard about his recent exploits in the Alcan 5000 rally, and we ended up talking about so many other things. It was a short interview, but it certainly was a lot of fun. ACP is a genuinely good dude, and I enjoyed my time talking with him. He says the phrase “I was drifting a Lada Niva”, which is all you really need to know to convince you to listen to this one. Thanks again Andrew! A link to the video of ACP singing a Stan Rogers classic, and a copy of his now infamous signed photograph can be seen after the jump.
This Episode’s topics include: Driving Music, how much I was a snot-nosed kid in 2008, The Alcan 5000 rally, Canada, Being a lawyer, The Targa Newfoundland, stunt driving in movies, BF Goodrich K02s, Daily driver cars, broken Porsche 930s, and more. Tune in, you’ll love it!

Here it is. I had picked up this issue of Top Gear Magazine just a few days before going to the Lake Superior Performance Rally in the Keweenaw Peninsula Northern Michigan. For some reason, he decided to be a nice guy and sign it for me. I still treasure it dearly.

The Alcan 5000 sounds seriously insane. Awesome, but insane. Added to the bucket list…
