The C7.R car cover is the best accessory for your C7 Vette

By Kamil Kaluski Jul 19, 2019

Did you hear about the C8 mid-engine Corvette? It seems pretty great, doesn’t it? Ya know what’s also great? The C7 Corvette. And you know what’s also mid-engine? The C7 Corvette. And ya know what you can get a great deal on now? Yes, the C7 Corvette.

Should you buy a new (production stops in September 2019) or used C7 Corvette, and you should, as both are great, you should strongly consider this optional indoor car cover that makes your vette look like the C7.R racer. Neat, eh?

If the C7.R isn’t your thing, it should be. But if it really isn’t your thing, you can also get a similar cover with the Grand Sport version. But you should get the C7.R. The only bad thing is the price, which is four times the cost of a conventional non-printed cover. But after 22 seconds of Googling I found it for 3/4 of that price, so there’s that.

Chevy, not surprisingly, offers a ton of more accessories for your Vette, many of which are tastefully tacky, which also shouldn’t be a surprise. There’s even Corvette branded luggage but it doesn’t specify if it was actually designed to fit into the spacious C7 trunk. You can see all the accessories in the online configurator.

Yes, the C8 mid-engine Corvette has been revealed. Love the C7!

Your article starts with the word “The”. The is definitely an article. In fact, it’s the definite article.

  1. “Tastefully tacky” is a marketing line I’d approve in a heartbeat. Alas, I am not a marketeer.

  2. With a roll of polythene, some scissors and glue, this could also be a very cheap wrap to drive around with!

  3. How well would it fit on a C8, if you put it on backwards? That seems like a waste of $1200 that would be good for about 30 seconds of amusement.

    1. It could be used as a theft deterrent!
“Let’s steal that Corvette over there!”
“Nah, that’s the old model. Let’s steal a new one.”
