  1. “some” “issues”. In all seriousness, we likely know most of the bugs that were keeping us off the track, and while we didn’t run much on Saturday, we were running longer stints Sunday afternoon. Well until the water pump pulley sheared off around the bolts.
I am pretty sure Phil caught Graham driving in the clip.
Oh, and it has more than enough power to carry too much speed up the hill at the end of the front straight.

        1. I’ve been given an open invite to run the EASY 908/14, so maybe I’ll have to run against you, Jeff. DOMINATE.

  2. I am quite pleased that the Ranchero was so able to hug the tight line in that turn, forcing every other car to pass it on the outside.
Seriously, that looks fun as hell!

    1. 4 speed toploader, but yeah, it’s much better (the three speed was geared like a four speed without third, the extra gear makes all the difference).

      1. Ah yes, I remember thinking that would be just as good unless you had a close-ratio 5 speed, otherwise 5th will never be used on a track. Running Dad’s Falcon GT (healthy 302W/toploader) at Winton last year I didn’t get out of third, it is a pretty tight track. It has a reasonably tall diff ratio though, 6 grand in 3rd was about 100 mph.

  3. i was so happy to see you guys turning laps, and at one point, coming out of the carousel, you got the hole shot on me (in the fu-haul rx-7) and i was grinning ear to ear as i tried in vain to catch up!
you have all. of. the. torques. 🙂
