We don’t often report such news, but this may be big. F1Today.net just reported that Michael Schumacher has awaken from his coma and recognized his wife, but they are awaiting confirmation. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion fell into a coma after a skiing accident in December of 2013 in Switzerland. Following multiple surgeries he recently been moved out of the hospital and into his house. Per F1Today.net:

“According to one source, his manager confirmed that Schumacher had awoken from his coma and is talking to his wife, Corinna.”

If true, this is great news for millions of Formula 1 and Schumacher fans. We’ll stay on top of this.
