Some animals have elaborate coloring or other physical feature that asserts dominance and mating desirability among their order. People, lacking such natural determiners of social status, have evolved instead the minivan and SUV window sticker as communication medium. Obviously, that has also evolved to encompass that unique subspecies of skinny-jean wearing beardos known as hipsters.
