This vintage shot is of Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, right around Doheny. What’s really interesting about it however is the random juxtaposition of the ’53 Caddy on the road – a model that ushered in the era of the jet age fin – and one of that styling trope’s last holdouts, the Imperial, here a ’60 model on the billboard directly above it.
