While Harley’s have long been known as tourers and, to a lessor extent, circle track stars, few may remember the brand’s short-lived dalliance into cafe-style sport bikes. Sure that two-cylinder thumper is a torque monster rather than an eater of revs. And the bike is so top-heavy in its standard Sportster frame that its handling is best described as wooly, but damn if the Willie G. Davidon-desogned XLCR isn’t one of the most bad-ass looking bikes ever to carry the Harley badge.
