Even though it took many years, the alligators continued to write to their congressman, and eventually they got their wish, as a sign was erected alerting passersby to the dangers of that section of road. As a happy coincidence, the gators also never went hungry again.

My cousin who lives in FL gave me the short summary about the Everglades, I promised myself I wouldn't even go close to the damn place. I dislike FL in general, the only time I ever end up going there is for spring break. This year was my last "official" school spring break, since I am done with school with my Master's. Plus I am old now as I am 26, it sure was a good 6 year run for me ;P
