Last Call- Aye Aye Eye Edition

Eye Eye

The styling of Fiat’s new 500 L could be best described as lugubrious, befitting the tradition of Italian sedans not comparing to their coupe sisters in the beauty department. But while the car as a whole appears passable, its headlamp, viewed alone, takes the cake in being over-styled and looking like something the queen alien may have deposited in an unsuspecting host’s abdomen.

Headlamps aside, I have a feeling the Fiat show models "aren't from around here."

Ok, but that one in the front …meh. Now the Farrah-hair one by the left fender…YES!

Actually, in person, is a pretty nice car. And obviously, you have to compare it to similar cars, like the Ford B-Max, the Citroen C3 Picasso and the MINI Countryman.

      Yeah I don't mind it's Euro kinda-quirky-kinda-awkward-ness.
These will be nice to see on the road, as they are a nice break from the dreary sea of beige out there.

People were thinking giant squid eye, but apparently it's from a swordfish.
