  1. Dibs on the grey one. That flip-flop paint is one of, if not THE, greatest sins against cars. Ever.

    1. Personally I think the flip color one is the car that most clearly expresses the batshit craziness that was TVR at its height. Plus of course "Owning a TVR in the past was like owning a bear. I mean it was great, until it pulled your head off, which it would." Jeremy Clarkson.

  2. When I was younger I had a bicycle helmet with that same colour scheme. The outer plastic had that odd colour changing Japanese Beetle effect. It was so cool it made up for the Barbie bike I learned to ride on.

  3. Oh my. That was some good pictorial content.
My dad had a Bimota SB6 that he had painted in the blue "flip-flop" paint. At the time, it was brand new to consumers, and cost a staggering $40/pint or so. That bike was beautiful. A pain in the ass to maintain, but still, absolutely gorgeous.

  4. That's the first car I've ever seen do the color flip paint justice. Wow.
    All other applications are abominations.

    1. I've seen a few white/gold pearls that are subtly entrancing. The neat thing about pearl paints is that if you choose the colors right, it just makes the basecoat pop without shouting "OMG COLOR CHANGE PAINT" from the hills.

  5. Wow!
Some of the ugliest bits of sheet metal I have seen in some time. How much real ale must one drink to create such horrid visages?
A shame really. I loved the Tasmins..
