You know, when it comes to suits, women, and automotive styling, few do it with such aplomb as do the Italians. Of course when it comes to cars, they also know a thing or two about making some pretty sweet mechanicals.  If there’s perhaps one shortcoming the residents of the boot-shaped nation suffer, it’s the inability to accept the unsatisfying work of others, and in fact,they just can’t seem to leave well enough alone.

That has led over the decades to a great number of sexy Italian bodies replacing staid American shapes. The Corvette above is an excellent example, and the Mustang too has been draped in Latin finery on more than one occasion. In fact, enough American iron has been re-bodied by the Italian design houses that it begs the question, which one is the best?
