Hooniverse Asks- What Road Rule Do You Wish Your State or Country Allowed?

Woody Allen once claimed that L.A.’s only cultural advantage was the ability to turn right on a red light. I don’t know about that, and I think that the septuagenarian director currently has some family issues that may take precedence over regional driving regulations, but it does bring up a good question and that is, what driving laws from other areas do you wish were offered in your neck of the woods?

Do you wish that, when on your motorcycle you could split lanes just like they do in Cal-if-orn-eye-aye? Or, when faced with the prospect of hours of 65-mph attraction-free highway driving do you pine for Germany’s go as fast as you want Autobahn policy? They say the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but when it comes to traffic laws, I – unlike Woody – just like having the ability to turn on red.

What about you, is there a particular traffic – or other automotive privilege – that you wish your locale was hip to? What road rule do you wish your city, state, or country, allowed?
