There’s this great The Onion story entitled – ‘Peeing Calvin’ Decals Now Recognized As Vital Channel Of National Discourse. As chuckle-worthy as that may be, it’s a fact that, at least here in America, automotive window decals as expressions of opinion, allegiance, or familial situation, have gotten entirely out of hand. Sure, you may hate Chevy, or Ford, or the political party you somehow think is screwing over you and the country, but geez louise, I don’t need to stare at the comic page kid urinating on the object of your derision for an hour while we’re both stuck in traffic. Hey, here’s an idea, how about a decal of Calvin peeing on traffic? Those, along with the zombie and Star Wars family decals on the back windows of minivans and SUVs really chap my asphalt. What about you, which side of the great decal debate do you call home turf? Do you love ’em? Or, do you find car window decals to be as played as Lorde at an 8th Grade dance? If the latter, which one do you hate the most?
