Hooniverse Asks- If it Weren't for Cars, Where Would Your Passions Lie?

So, rumor is, you are a car nut. You’d have to be one to be here, after all, we check IDs at the door. The thing of it is, if it weren’t for cars, I’m sure most of us would be fixated on some other oddball and probably sadly expensive hobby, and today I want to know which one would be your white pony if it weren’t for cars.

I have been a gearhead ever since I was a pre-teen. I asked for and received a subscription to AutoWeek/Competition Press for my 11th birthday, and was crazy about how each pub was printed upside down from the other in the same tabloid paper. Cars and related machinery have ever since been an integral part of my existence. So much so that right here, right now, and every week I write about them in some fashion or another, so as to hopefully fire up other car nuts about what interests me.

But what if that all didn’t exist? What if personal transportation was but a beautiful dream? Or, what if the oil really does run out, and there’s not enough extension cords in the world to handle all the electric cars? What then? I’m curious as to what you all might turn to. I’d expect serial killings, but I’m hoping you’ll prove me wrong.
