For some reason I was recently asking myself this very question just the other day, and then this shows up in the tips inbox from Joe Schmo. Weird, perhaps a remake of the movie is in the works, Lord knows Hollywood can’t come up with anything original anymore.
Regardless, I was thinking of my vehicular choices (wow, I’m a dork) and had a hard time coming up with something that would work really well. The car needs room for two (easy), perhaps some kind of removable roof, ability to do smokey burnouts, and go at least 300 miles on one tank. It obviously needs to be fast too, but street fast and not track fast, which means street tires and forgiving suspension. For the sake of reality, let’s forget about jumping over anything.
