When it came to car chases, tough but virtuous cops, and impressive mustaches, nobody did it better than the ’70s. Ad-Rock, MCA (R.I.P.), and Mike D – better known as the Beastie Boys pay the era of Mannix, The Streets of San Francisco, Starsky and Hutch, and Baretta a righteous homage in this Spike Jonze-directed video for their driller Sabotage.

With the passing of Adam Yaunch in 2012, it’s uncertain if we’ll ever hear any new Beastie Boy tracks down the road, but even if we don’t we’ll always have Sabotage.
