Car Wash It’s generally considered that for cars, the seventies sucked. Of course to take your mind off how mediocre your ’70s car was, there were plenty of non-sucky seventies car movies, and one of the least sucky of those was Car Wash. Featuring an ensemble cast that included George Carlin and Richard Pryor, Car Wash was one of those movie’s whose soundtrack has lived on seemingly with a life of its own. Car Wash was released in 1976 and remarkably was scripted by none other than Joel Schumacher. He later went on to write and direct classic movies like St Elmo’s Fire, The Lost Boys, and Falling Down. Oh, yeah and he also directed Batman and Robin, which wasn’t so classic. Car Wash more than makes up for that, however. You may have seen the movie but you probably weren’t around to have seen its trailer, so have a look right after the jump.
