Fantasy Finds Friday: I've got a bug to go off-road

buggy-fff I want to race in the Baja 500. Yes, that sounds insane, and it’s a thought that has arrived seemingly out of nowhere. It hasn’t though, as I’ve recently returned from Mexico where I was testing a brand-new BFGoodrich tire. The tire is called the KO2, and it was fitted to both Ford Raptor trucks and the BC buggies used by the Wide Open Baja crew. My time spent in those Baja Challenge cars has officially transformed my brain. I need to get dirty, I need to push a car harder than I ever thought I would, and I need to get back to Mexico sooner rather than later. So, it should come as no surprise then that my Fantasy Find for this Friday is a vehicle capable of getting me back to Baja. It’s a buggy chassis that’s fully built and ready to go… and it’s currently sitting with a[sc:ebay itemid=”121427224732″ linktext=”$10,000 bid price and no reserve”]. buggy rear Are there a few things I’d change? Sure, but it would be very minor stuff. I’d swap the rubber over to the new BFGoodrich rubber, and I’d probably ditch the pleather body bits. I’m curious about the choice to run a Toyota motor, but it should prove to be a strong engine and it’s most likely quite reliable. Those are just guesses though. Either way, this buggy appears ready to run and run hard. I am pretty confident that the final sale price will be a good chunk over $10,000. The amount of bids on the vehicle are well over 80, and there are still two days left to go. If it goes for under $20,000, however, someone got a hell of a deal. Okay, that’s my Fantasy Find for this Friday and now it’s your turn. Sound off below with whatever vehicle catches your eye, regardless of price. This is Friday, let’s live out some of our Fantasies.
