NASCAR, Inc. today launched FansChoice.TV, a free streaming website that will carry a whole host of events that currently receive little or no broadcast coverage. The service launched with the announcement of coverage for NASCAR, IMSA, and AMA Pro Racing (motorcycles, to the uninformed heathens like this writer) and will include multiple camera angles, commentaries, and Timing & Scoring information, according to the site.

The initial offerings will come this weekend with the AMA races from Daytona International Speedway (headlined by the Daytona 200) and the IMSA weekend at Sebring International Raceway. The first coverage will include Thursday’s sessions from Sebring (Full schedule), though it’s unclear what that might entail.

IMSA coverage generally will include practice and qualifying sessions from the top series, the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, in addition to IMSA’s various development series. However, the streaming coverage will not include any events that fall under IMSA’s or NASCAR’s television contracts.

FansChoice.tv will carry all AMA Pro Road Racing and AMA Pro Flat Track Racing, as the motorcycle racing series does not have a television contract currently.

The site will also cover NASCAR’s Home Tracks series (NASCAR’s Whelen Modified, Southern Modified, K&N Pro Series East and K&N Pro Series West divisions) except those outside of the United States.

Additionally, three small, unaffiliated oval tracks will air their weekly races on FansChoice.TV. This includes Langley Speedway (Hampton, Virgina), Lake County Speedway (Painesville, Ohio), and Evergreen Speedway (Monroe, Washington), though more tracks may be added.
