After taking a week off due to travel, the flashy new models shown at the recent Intermot motorcycle show caught our attention this week. Garrett and Eric and I review what’s new for 2017, and of course how we personally feel about the many new and tweaked models. We also discuss Garrett’s TX750 (it’s good news this time!) and Ford Escape shock towers (not-so good news for Eric). We wrap up with a review of the book Save The Triumph Bonneville by John Rosamond and a bit of background on the Meriden Workers’ Cooperative.

The Ducati Supersport was a pretty exciting release until the 16litre fuel capacity was announced. For a brief moment it looked like we might be getting something close to an ST3/4 replacement.
Here in the empty west where range anxiety can be a real factor in almost any ride, Ducati’s bikes are totally useless unless you spend $20k+ on the idiotic Multistrada.
Thanks for dismissing the Monster as “ugly’. I mean, it needed to be said…

à chacun son goût !
The Ducati Supersport, The R Nine Tee, The FZ-09 and the XSR900… simply Incredible styling.
