If you saw the news today, you know that Modern Muscle Design (MMD) and Chip Foose unveiled a one-off 2015 Ford Mustang with unique styling and some awesome power to back up the good looks. The reason for this follow up post is because AmericanMuscle is going to give away this one-off Mustang to a lucky someone who will soon become a friendly neighborhood tire slayer, and that sounds like just the kind of title that a hoon should earn.
Details on the car and how to win an 810 horsepower one-off Mustang penned by Chip Foose himself are after the jump.

What is soon to be someone’s new daily started life as a standard 2015 Ford Mustang GT before receiving some special treatment. Modern Muscle Design, who specializes in aftermarket Mustang styling, teamed up with Chip Foose, who we’re all familiar with, to create a gorgeous one-off machine for this year’s AmericanMuscle Mustang Show. This 7th annual charity event is an all-Mustang show which is believed to draw a crowd of over 10,000 visitors and 3,000 cars to benefit Make-A-Wish. Plenty of people will be making a wish for Chip Foose to call their name when AmericanMuscle gives it away…
The car itself, officially called the 2015 MMD by Foose Mustang, gets a touch of power to make it go as fast as it looks. “A touch” as in 810 horsepower at the crank. That power originates from the factory 5.0-liter V8 which benefits from a specially-tuned version of Bama Performance’s 2.9-liter twin-scroll Whipple supercharger and Magnaflow Competition Cat-back exhaust to sing through. Power is routed through a standard transmission, a custom carbon fiber driveshaft, and an upgraded rear axle from The Driveshaft Shop. About 650 horsepower makes it to the custom 20″ Foose Design wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires. Handling is improved by Vogtland sport suspension.

The car’s reworked styling was all penned by Chip Foose. His goal was to enhance the factory styling while keeping the classic Mustang looks intact without the car actually looking like an aftermarket product. Everything fits nicely and nothing really sticks out so the untrained eye would think this was a factory-optioned car. But the body enhancements are only part of the story, because like a true Foose car, the paint work is gorgeous and hints at its potential, but it’s not at all flashy.
As much of a shame as it is that something that looks so awesome is being limited to just one example, many of the new parts on here will become available for personal use on www.AmericanMuscle.com. Those parts include the chin spoiler, hood scoop, rocker panels, side scoops, quarter window louvers, and rear spoiler all designed by Chip Foose and featured on this very car.

Wow, that’s awesome. A press release gave me a bad link. Thanks for the correction! I’ve fixed the post.

Awesome prize BUT, whilst the internet has gone global with support for web pages such as Hooniverse, those of us in places other than the US of A Can’t enter the featured competitions. Disillusioned from the UK.

Yeah, that does suck. They sell Mustangs in Europe now so might as well give one away there too. But it’s about the same feeling I get when reporting on an awesome car that’s only going to Europe… it’s even worse when they reveal the car IN AMERICA but then say it’s Euro only (cough Volkswagen).

Damn… does a double negative count as a positive?

My kid found out I entered contests to win random Corvettes and Porsches and asked why… my reply of “to sell and buy a Boss” was adequate for him.
