    This is absolutely awesome! I wonder if in 40 years the ubiquitous youtube videos of street racing today will be as classic as this video is? Doubtful. And I agree with Jeff.

    Wow, what a great video. I was nine or ten at the time, and more into Hot Rod Magazine and drag racing than Ferraris. Amazing. I wonder what he did for a living (or what his parents did) so that he could drive a Ferrari (even back then)? When I heard "Tommy Rettig, I thought, "LASSIE!" I'll bet this guy knew all kinds of Hollywood types.
    Too bad Ralph Lauren took the racing lights off of the roof. Talk about destroying a car's originality and distinction.

    As a matter of fact, I WAS racing my Ferrari 250 against my buddies Ferrari 250. Of course, they were HO gauge slot cars and it was in his basement….
