When I was a kid, grownups would ask me why don’t you go play in the street, as a way to get rid of me, annoying as I was. Well, for this pedestrian, caught on a security camera, that might be the safer place to be.
These incidents are always funniest when nobody gets hurt, and, in this case that can be attributed to the ped’s mad skillz. I also appreciate how he cooly goes back to his walk after the fact. If it were me, I’d be heading to buy a lottery ticket.

This must be in the UK, in the US the pedestrian would be clutching his neck while dialing a lawyer. Here he just continues to limp on his merry way.
The driver must be confused too – what we Yanks call "sidewalk" the British call "pavement".
That must confuse the crap out of Stephen Malkmus. We just call it the footpath – keeps it simple and explicit.
And that is why you walk against the flow of traffic.
Replace the small hatch with that Icelandic Ice Pickup and you've got a pretty accurate representation of my local grocery store parking lot.
